Cadence Design Systems to Acquire BETA CAE Systems

Letter to our Customers

Dear valued customer

As you may have heard already, Cadence Design Systems, Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire BETA CAE Systems, a leading provider of multi-domain, multidisciplinary engineering simulation solutions.

BETA CAE Systems, for more than 30 years, has been a reliable and trustworthy supplier in the industry, exceeding its customers’ expectations. BETA is a highly respected industry leader, well-known for its groundbreaking, innovative, high performance simulation software, and best-in-class services. It has a very strong footprint in the automotive vertical, delivering solutions to the top global automobile manufacturers and most of the Formula One racing teams, as well as leading customers in the aerospace and defense industries.

We are excited about the combination of BETA and Cadence. This acquisition will accelerate the delivery of new technology and bring an expanding portfolio of multiphysics system analysis tools to our customers.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

Through the closing, BETA and Cadence will continue to operate as separate companies and it will be business as usual. Importantly, this transaction will have no immediate impact on our relationship or how you conduct business with us. Please continue to engage with your usual points of contact in the normal course of business and feel free to reach out to your existing sales representative. We are committed to continuing our excellent relationship with our customers, and the people of BETA, with whom you work today, will continue attending to your needs and support your operations.
